Cramming Artwork Into a Sickday

After a comedic attempt at returning to work after 5 days of being miserably sick, I was sent home after an hour of coughing, sneezing, and leaking from the face. As incredibly gross and miserable as this sounds, I was actually in a semi-descent mood and went home with only a twinge of regret in my heart. Upon the return of my body to its lair, my bedroom coaxed me into a proverbial five hour nap induced by the remake of Flubber. Psychedelic dreams ensued, and when I awoke I had a sudden and nagging urge to create something iconic and perhaps shocking.

Instead, I ended up returning to my usual routine of staring at my Facebook homepage hoping for any sign of activity that will give me an excuse to "comment" or "like something. This, my friends, is the epitome of boredom. However, it is how I spend 90% of my time when I'm not at work or on my favorable gettaways with my boyfriend. Anyways. Facebook led me to checking out the Pterodactyls vs. Babies blog, which led me to spending the next 4 hours creating random graphics based on the monthly themes. Aaand, here they are.

July's "Animals Dressed As Other Animals" Submission

August's "Dirty Nuns" Submission

Aaah, twas an incredible day for me. Napping, alphabet soup, and random spur of the moment artwork. A big thanks to PvB for giving me something productive to do while I recovered from my hellish cold.
